This isn’t exactly the “real mobile news,” but it is somewhat related as we talk about Yowza!!, the mobile couponing service.
As you may remember, the company has recently launched service for small businesses, offering them an option to include their coupons to the system for $49 per location per month with the ability to change or update offers as often as they’d like with no additional fees. At present, Yowza!! has about five to seven new local businesses per week added to the system and that apparently is not good enough. Hence, they’ve launched the affiliate program to spread the word around its market (which is still the U.S. only). The company is offering a 25% commission to individuals or organizations that bring new retailers, restaurants or other merchants on board…
As a big fan of mobile coupons (and other mobile payment/marketing services for that matter), I wanted to use my humble influence as a blogger at IntoMobile and help Yowza!! grow. The end goal is that all of us will rely on mobile coupons at some point and that’s something worth fighting for, right? 😉
And for the record, Yowza!!’s existing database includes over 250 businesses in 15,000 locations around the U.S.
