LG Gossip Coming to Fido June 1st

From what I can tell, the LG Gossip (GW300FD) is going to be one of the more uglier smartphones I’ve seen in awhile. The Mr. Blurrycam shot above shows off what looks to be a device that combines a BlackBerry-esque QWERTY keyboard with the dash of a ’99 Porsche Boxster. Something like that anyway. The controls in the middle remind me of a watch I had when I was 14. That thing was awesome. The LG Gossip, meh, I’m not so sure.

ANYWAYS, rumor has it that Fido will be launching the LG Gossip on June 1st, from $90 outright, or for free on a 2-year contract.

Key specs on the LG Gossip include the full QWERTY keyboard, 2.4″ QVGA display (320×240), 3.5mm headpone jack, Bluetooth 2.1, 2 MP camera with video, FM radio tuner and expantion to 16GB via microSD.

All joking aside (above), I’ve really got to say that I’m digging the features found in low-end devices these days. More and more goodness is getting packed-in to these devices for little to no cost for the user up-front. You have to dig that.
