My bud Hedone Hawker over at HedoneDesign recently let me know about a new BlackBerry theme he’s developed. Yes, he’s up to his old tricks. This new one is titled ‘Biston’, and it’s a goodie (as per usual).
Hedone always manages to pump out solid themes, and Biston is no exception. It incorporates 9 user defined icons on the homescreen, and custom battery and signal meters too. There’s even a Today preview built-in to help you stay on top of your calendar and messages.
The Biston BlackBerry Theme also incorporates the Double Function Keyboard (DFK). The DFK makes it ultra-easy to perform common tasks with the press of a few buttons. For example, want to open your calculator? Just hold down the ‘Shift + N’. How about opening your calendar? No problem, just hit ‘Shift + C’. All shortcuts are very intuitive, and once you memorize your favorites it really comes in handy.
