I’m not sure if many will find this useful, but if you happen to have a BlackBerry 8910 ‘Atlas’ laying around your office, this is a quick OS update for you. OS 5.0.0.608 has been made available for the 8910 via China Mobile. You can hit up the download link below if you want to give it a spin… But as always, please do backup your device and take all necessary precautions before you proceed.

As an aside, we all know the 8910 is yet to be released, but that hasn’t stopped it from being found on camera. Perhaps the most notable instance came to us via CES, where the 8910 posed for us. Other appearances have been made, and thus far we know the device will probably pack a 3.2MP camera, 480×360 display, a-GPS, WiFi, 256MB of RAM and a 1500 mAhr battery. I like to think of it as the BlackBerry Curve 8900 with just a touch of steroids in the bloodstream.
