First Pro Evolution Soccer 2008 mobile screenshots; Coming in October

We’ve already reported that Konami is working to bring its key titles to mobile screens. Now, at the Leipzig Games Convention, the PocketGamer.co.uk team had a chance to get their hands on the soon-to-be-released mobile version of the popular football/soccer simulation – Pro Evolution Soccer 2008.

As they report, the new 2D Java game sports well defined players and such extra touches as the coaches’ area, weather conditions (rain and snow), and extend to the patterns of the way the grass has been cut. In addition, Konami has invested an extra effort to animate players correctly. Apparently, each separate animation consists of up to nine individual frames, giving the game that fluid wibe which is so important for soccer simulations.

There you have it. The single best soccer game is coming. According to Konami, we could expect it to be released at the end of October, alongside the console versions of the game.
