I can’t confirm if this guy was drunk or not, but honestly … you have to be pretty damn wasted to create something like this. [Via: Darla Mack]

Nokia sued in China for making typos

June 29, 2007 by Stefan Constantinescu - Leave a Comment

More than 30 Chinese characters appear to be drawn incorrectly on some Nokia devices. This has upset Zhang, previously a teacher and he is now asking for a little under $42 in compensation. Why so little? I have no clue. Why did Nokia mess up in the first place? You try reproducing what looks like…

Iran tries to turn off protests by turning off text messages

June 29, 2007 by Stefan Constantinescu - 1 Comment

Always destroy your enemies ability to communicate and they will crumble. Who knows whether or not this will stop the protests in Iran, what we can establish is that SMS is very powerful and not just 160 characters of gibberish, unlike Twitter’s 140 characters of sheer nonsense. [Via: Textually]

June 28, 2007 by Stefan Constantinescu - 2 Comments

Something tells me the Chinese are not paying royalty fees to the NBA for the NBA N111 phone. One of these days I need to stroll the streets of Beijing and see the true bitch place of piracy. [Via: The Unwired View]

Nokia is Captain Planet of the electronics world

June 28, 2007 by Stefan Constantinescu - 1 Comment

According to the fourth edition of the Greenpeace Guide to Greener Electronics, Nokia is the cleanest company in the world! Apple went from last place to 10th place, Lenovo and Dell are tied for second. No I’m not a hippy, I greatly enjoy my over consumption of pork and excessive speeding in an inefficient vehicle.…
