The WildPalm Sound Server allows the sound from older WildPalm software and demos to work correctly on newer Nokia handsets. Specifically, the WildPalm Sound Server v3.3 allows sound from the Nokia 7650 “Doom” demo to work correctly on newer handsets.

The WildPalm Sound Server is also distributed as part of our current games and emulators, but the version distributed with these does not support the audio of older software. It is therefore neccessary to use this version of the WildPalm Sound Server in order for audio in older software to play.
