NTT DoCoMo FOMA SO702i

NTT DoCoMo launched today the new Symbian OS powered phone, FOMA SO702i. The new phone is manufactured by Sony Ericsson Mobile Communications Japan, Inc and is the 29th Symbian OS-based mobile phone shipped in Japan.

Like other DoCoMo’s 702i handsets, this model offers regular FOMA features such as videophone and Deco-mail, and also i-channel, which automatically delivers news, weather, entertainment, sports and horoscopes via teletype to the standby screen.

The SO702i boasts the most compact body and is DoCoMo’s first phone to accept front and back jackets, to create an extra-personalized look. Nine jackets created by designers in Sweden, the United Kingdom and Japan are available. An extra-bright screen makes outdoor viewing easy.

    Can i unnlock SO702i? my father got one there in japan but it isn’t working here in the philippines since it is locked on NTT docomo.. how can i unlock it? thanks
