Visto today announced that the company has successfully completed the Symbian Email Validation Program and is the first company to be accredited the “Symbian Approved” mark for push email. The hallmark guarantees mobile professionals a high-quality mobile email experience, and will help accelerate a mass adoption of business-ready push email services on Symbian smartphones.

The Symbian Email Validation Program defines industry agreed quality guidelines for push email solutions in the form of a Symbian Recommended Practice against which vendors can validate their solutions. The guidelines cover the whole user experience from installation and device compatibility to minimum service functionality and ease-of-use.

The Visto Mobile platform, employed by operators around the world to deliver secure, easy-to-use email on the broadest range of business-ready handsets, is the first mobile email solution to achieve this accreditation.

Visto sucks, i use it on my vodafone nokia e71, also i use a free push softwaren that is much better….
Visto only shows plain text mails, and the links are not selected so UNCLICKABLE loads of html codes in each email such as < ….etc etc
it is totally crap. What use is Visto push mail if my free version delivers it 50% quicker and shows me a nice mail which i can use to click on the html links. Visto shows the plain txt mails full of codes. I asked for their support not any respons….
Reinstalling did not helped me, and worse of all you cannot edit the mail settings in the nokia when u use a additional push mail subscription and on the visto site u cannot edit much only the mail servers names etc.
So I will try to cancel my 24 month contract because Vodafone is not delivering what they are promising. As business man i need good service and most of all a reliable quick push mail.

The funny thing is you dont need any push subscription just download the free version which are much better and even more quicker in delevering.
