Ed takes a look at WorldMate 2007, and generally likes the application. I can’t say that’s the case for me however. I used the 2006 version on my E61 and was left less than impressed, especially since it costs 30 euros. I admit, it’s nice having all of these features in one convenient application, but really you can just setup a few bookmarks in your mobile browser of choice to access the same data.

    Stefan-

The E61 actually comes with WorldMate 2006 for free. You don’t have to pay the subscription fee for 3 years. You can get the full version of WM 2006 from their site but the only difference between that one and the one that comes with the E61 is the Flight Tracker.

WorldMate 2007 isn’t available but I am assuming that it will be a free upgrade for existing users.

I won’t make any assumptions as to the cost, and as for the flight tracker … why not just check your flight on the net?

  • Foad

I wasn’t stating that you couldn’t just check your flights through the net, I was just stating that by default you get WM2006 for free minus the flight tracker.
