Yet another reason why USB ports should be included on phones

Dennis Rice is one of the editors at GottaBeMobile.com, a site that covers tablet PC news, a site that I read on a daily basis. I’ve always wanted a tablet since I’m at that point in my college career where I’m drawing notes more than typing them. Anyway back on topic: he’s already at CES and has experienced a crisis. He thought his Motorola Q charged via the USB port, sadly he was mistaken and now is scouring the earth (why not hit up the Motorola booth tomorrow?) for a power adapter!

This was one of my 20 New Year’s Resolutions for Nokia and it’s being proven again today:

Can we please have mobile phones with standard USB ports that also allow us to charge our phone via the exact same port. Just look at an iPod, one port, one cable, data and power.
