Marat Fayzullin, developer of many emulators for Symbian-powered devices, released the updated version of Virtual GameBoy Advance (VGBA). For those not familiar, VGBA, now in version 3.1.2, is a GameBoy Advance emulator for Nokia S60 3rd edition smartphones.
For the updated version, Marat worked on the new THUMB CPU emulation in tight assembly that should improve performance of the application by about 40%. However, author warns that on some devices VGBA is still slow and suggests that before purchasing, users download a free playable demo to try.
