Hmm, Will has pointed out some cool things. Well, sort of… Yes, we all love freebies. There are a number of Symbian free apps, you can check from here. But Ultimate thing is… nice… (again) sort of… Certainly not worth a kidney!

Nokia N95 with a crown

Somehow that Ultimate Acorn resembles the HTC Athena — the smartphone that requires a backpack. Honestly, I’ve seen it live at 3GSM, and it does bring lot of features, which are unfortunately packed in a way-too-bulky design. One thing I remember from Ultimate’s presentation is that guy emphasizing just how cool this device’s camera is. He said: “…And it comes with 2 MP camera with hardware autofocus…” I was amazed… NOT, as at the very same moment I’ve had the Nokia N93 in my hand.

Back to the (Symbian) news. We have the UIQ Open 2007 winners announced, and the new Symbian S60 smartphone coming from Nokia. It will be a mid-range device, so expect the standard WinMo features. :)

Finally, the tip for Angelina Jolie, as she banned the use of cell phones in the daycare center when she drops off her kids. Angie honey, allow WinMo devices to be used. Their cameras can’t take a picture worth a shit anyway. :)

Dusan Belic

Dusan has been using smartphones since their introduction and is now following the latest trends in the industry. The "convergence" is what he's most excited about, and writing about it is the next logical thing to do. He thinks that using a smartphone is what everyone who cares about their time should do. In addition to his interests in mobile phones, Dusan also loves to experiment with the latest web and mobile 2.0 services. The idea of accessing and managing your information from any device no matter where you are simply amazes him. Whether it's an online to-do list, note taking service or a video sharing social network, he's there to try it out. He admits though, he's still searching for the ultimate web-based organizational tool, which "sings" perfectly with the mobile PIM application. Dusan used to run SymbianWatch.com which later became part of IntoMobile. He lives in Serbia, South-East Europe, from where he edits the site on a daily basis.
