Mobio, the company that wants to redefine the way we use the web on our mobile phones, opens up its beta program today. With 50 mobile applications grouped into 8 “lifestyle” collections, Mobio’s got the mobile web covered. Instead of bringing the entire web, in it’s full page browsing glory, to your mobile phone, Mobio wants you to use their little mobile-optimized applications browse “only those bits of the web that is relevant for [you] given [your] specific tastes, interests, geography, as well as the task [you] are trying to accomplish at a particular moment in time.” Fair enough, but didn’t Microsoft also announce like this?
Either way, check out the beta here.
