I don’t mean to belittle the Widsets team; what they are doing is exciting stuff, but they desperately needed this sort of content boost.

Over 85,000+ widsets have now been added to the previous library of ~ 1200.

In the blink of an eye, the amount of syndicated widset content has increased by a factor of 70. Way-to-go Nokia!

OPK wasn’t kidding when he said he wanted to turn Nokia into an Internet company.

I’m still waiting on the S60 native version of Widsets, the Java app isn’t snappy enough for me. It’s a beta product so I’ll cut them some slack.

Then again, isn’t every Web 2.0 product on the Internet a beta?

With the flavour of comments seen around my RSS blogosphere, maybe Nokia shouldnt really bother with the native widset/widget. Its sad, but no one seems to care. It confuses me, seeing as Widsets got alot of positive fanfare.

Personaly i look forward to our Mobile 2.0 overlords.
