Just recently Nokia openned a special subsite – Nokia Beta Labs, allowing users to try out some of the apps they’re working on.

Nokia Beta Labs

At the moment only several applications are available, including Mobile Codes (user generated 2D barcodes), Wellness diary, Sports Tracker, as well as a link to Nokia’s Java-based widget solution Widsets — but that number should grow in the coming weeks and months.

Nokia is promising to deliver more mobile apps and interesting solutions here, and I strongly recommend to all Nokia users to visit the Beta Labs and susbcribe to their RSS feed for the latest news. (via: S60blogs)

About The Author

Dusan Belic

Dusan has been using smartphones since their introduction and is now following the latest trends in the industry. The "convergence" is what he's most excited about, and writing about it is the next logical thing to do. He thinks that using a smartphone is what everyone who cares about their time should do. In addition to his interests in mobile phones, Dusan also loves to experiment with the latest web and mobile 2.0 services. The idea of accessing and managing your information from any device no matter where you are simply amazes him. Whether it's an online to-do list, note taking service or a video sharing social network, he's there to try it out. He admits though, he's still searching for the ultimate web-based organizational tool, which "sings" perfectly with the mobile PIM application. Dusan used to run SymbianWatch.com which later became part of IntoMobile. He lives in Serbia, South-East Europe, from where he edits the site on a daily basis.

As I mentioned before on oh so many other articles: please, please include links to the sites you’re introducing. Unless I’m too stupid to see it there is no link from this article to the Nokia Beta Labs. So please include one. Or if there is one then at least make it more obvious.

The only relevant link I find is the one pointing to S60blogs where indeed I do find the link to the Beta Labs. If I have to go to other sites in order to get the links I want I might as well not come here at all anymore!
