Pay Taxes By SMS Text Message

Taxes suck, why not pay them with SMS text messages?What an awesome idea! Too bad only those in the Philippines get to use such a service. Wouldn’t life be soo much easier if all you had to do was text the government your money? Waiting in line at the post office and dealing with the last minute rush is no fun, and the Philippine Bureau of Revenu Service understands that. They are offering tax-payers, with less than $281 in dues, the “PAYBIR” service for their mobile phones. The service is a collaboration of Land Bank of the Philippines and Globe Telecom, using their G-Cash service.
