Mobile advertising is set for explosive growth and there’s nothing new about it. So it doesn’t surprises that many companies work hard to get their piece of the pie. One such company is Global Mobile Technologies (GMT), which filed a patent for real-time delivery of rich, user-requested content with interactive advertising to mobile phones.
The main idea behind GMT’s “Push-It” technology is to eliminate the usage of a mobile web browser to deliver rich web content directly to the user screen, enabling Internet advertising to be translated into a mobile-ready format with “click through” and “call through” capabilities. This way, consumers can receive and experience superior multimedia content with relevant advertising on any IP-enabled mobile phone.
At present, Global Mobile Technologies is currently previewing the Push-It platform for advertisers, content providers, and the press. Full-scale rollout is slated for Q3 s2007. (via: Slashphone)

The idea of accessing and managing your information from any device no matter where you are simply amazes him. Whether it's an online to-do list, note taking service or a video sharing social network, he's there to try it out. He admits though, he's still searching for the ultimate web-based organizational tool, which "sings" perfectly with the mobile PIM application.
