The iPhone drama continues. In the previous shows we’ve had some units appearing on eBay, with sellers having high-number ratings. Now, the story goes one step further and some “14 kart solid gold” 8GB units appeared on auction. Again the seller has a 99% positive rating, meaning it’s not that hard to inflate ratings (or to hijack other people’s eBay accounts).
DON’T GET FOOLED ON THIS! It may not come from Nigeria, but it’s a scam nevertheless. Not a single (regular) Apple iPhone unit is available for preordering. Furthermore, not that many people even touched a device. As expected, eBay
reacted promptly and the auction is now closed. (via: Engadget)
