Yahoo! OneSearch hits 7 Asian countries

Yahoo! OneSearchJust as we reported that Yahoo! OneSearch is coming to Canada, UK, Germany, France, Spain and Italy, the search giant expanded its mobile application/service to seven Asian countries, including India, Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand and Vietnam.

Yahoo! is betting heavily on mobile search, and its OneSearch is accessible to 85% mobile phone users in the US. David Ko, vice-president, president and general manager of Connected Life Asia, Yahoo! said: “It understands what busy consumers are looking for when they are on the move and brings up relevant answers in the first screen.” (via: UnofficialSEOblog)
