FCC green-lights Apple’s Bluetooth headset for iPhone

Remember that cute little Bluetooth headset that Apple announced as an official accessory for the iPhone (and yes, we said “cute”)? Well, it just got the green-light from the mighty FCC for use in the US. As is par for this course, details like pictures and users manuals are locked down on the FCC website, courtesy of confidentiality requests from Apple. But, we can tell you that the headset will feature only a single button and will automatically pair with your precious iPhone – and will still work with the rest of your Bluetooth phones.

It looks like we’re going to have to save up a bit more so that we can get this headset when we go to buy our iPhone. Our collection of tiny and sleek headsets just won’t feel right being paired with the iPhone (that was probably Apple’s plan). It’s a good thing we still have a couple weeks!
