Hello Kitty touchscreen phone comes with Hello Kitty doll and is clad in Pink - what else?

Seriously, what is it with chicks and Hello Kitty? Is it all the pink? That cute little kat (sic)? Childhood nostalgia? All of the above?

We have no idea, girls are kind of a mystery to us – on all fronts. Still, we can’t help but give this pink-colored, full touchscreen phone some coverage – if only because the LED lights on the side display an image when you wave it around (and to get some bonus points with the ladies – any takers?). This dual-band (900/1800Mhz) GSM phone features a 2 inch touchscreen, 1.3 megapixel camera, microSD slot, and those fancy LED lights – all in a 49 x 92.5 x 14.8 mm package. Not a bad feature-set, and its pretty cute small.

The phone is obviously Hello Kitty-themed (right down to the UI and menu icons) and comes with a matching Hello Kitty doll, pouch, box, and earphones.

Any reference to our own aspirations for this device would be purely in jest. But, what do the female-readers think? All kidding aside, ladies, would you think about getting this phone? It does have some nice features, and that nifty LED light setup is pretty trick. Does the pink color or Hello Kitty theme do it for you? We’d love to hear hear your thoughts!

    Alright, you asked so I’ll answer. I hate Hello Kitty, but that’s one cute cell. I wouldn’t mind carrying that around. Too bad I live in the crappy USA… 1900Mhz here. Sadness! Anyway, I like small and cute phones with good functionality. And although you didn’t give too many specs, it looks great.

    For those curious bout this phone. I have the information you may want to know. this phone support English, chinese, and others languages too. I have bought it this week at HK near Ladies street there.. try to look at those handphone shop. Prices can be reduce but try to compare the price before you buy.the phone is quicl thick. Beside this model there s another new model has been released, is a flip phone.Hope this info help.

    2. It does have the English language. Has to be set up.
    3. It does not operate in the U.S. or Canada.

It is made by OKWAP and its very popular in Asia especially Taiwan or Japan. Waiting to hear when they would release the tri-band since i have alot of people that want to buy it.     Its a great phone cant wait for them to release the Hello Kitty P318. Its a Japanese brand they just dont realize that the phones can also be a hit in other countries. There are other models that work in USA i am working on getting the price list and models and the release date of the tri-band of CECT P318. If you Italy lucky you it can work there.     There are only two models that work in USA. The one on this site does not work in USA or Canada since its dualband. You would need a tri-band that supports 900/1800/1900 would work with Tmobile, Congular/ATT and others that support sim cards. If you from another country lucky you!! If they release a tri-band i would post it on here!!

    To all hello kitty fans the phone does not work in USA or Canada. If your network do support 900/1800 then it would work. I hope Sanrio would release other phones that would work with a triband network like USA and Canada. Will keep everyone updated on the phones.

    Hey ppl I have got this phone even though is a very cute and fashionable phone, it does have its cons which are battry life is terrible it only last around 10-12 hours a day. So u need to charge it everyday which is very annoying as with my previous phone the battery life lasted at least 4-5 days or more!! Also because it’s touch screen it’s very hard to text and to phone ppl urgently i.e. if you were out shopping!! you’ve gotta have the time and patient to sit down and use the stylus pen!! I hope this helps ppl when buying the phone!! I am thinking of selling it, on the otherhand with all it’s features i.e wave light etc i love it!!

    Ok actually the phones are made by Hello Kitty OKWAP Sanrio in Japan and Taiwan. I was told you can get some Chinese models but not sure if it would be of same quality. However most hong kong sellers can get them in Taiwan since its a tax free zone. So i would try to get them from hong kong.

    The only model that works in work in USA is the Hello kitty i885 which it was limited edition. They would be releasing new models coming soon that would work worldwide.

    I would keep all the hello kitty fans updated on any news phones that would come out. Cross your fingers!!!

    I got this phone from my sis on valentines day,

    its the best phone I have ever owned! its so jam packed and its great for watching movies or listening to music, but I accidently threw out the screen protecter out of all the excitment :P

    I recently went on a trip to africa and the battery fried from the different electricity output, but luckily it comes with two! so yeah Id reccomend this phone heaps to anyone who wants one, its awesome! and you get alot of comments on how cute it is to, might I add :P

    ive just had this phone for my birthday, and im trying to get it on a network thats working, O2 just said invalid sim and now vodaphone is accepted but can only accept texts, cant send them cant recieve or send calls,
    im so upset, it cost like 100 quid, if there is anyone with this phone that knows how to fix this or is on a certain network PLEASE help.

    also if anyone knows any of the passwords that are within the phone, the whole manual is in chineese :(

    To all my hello kitty fans. I have worked hard to find the phone for you yall and to learn all about the hello kitty phones and other products. Now after hard work trying to find the suppliers of the phone i have ordered a sample which i am yet to test it. This new model is suppose to work in USA and Canada :) So will need to test with ATT and Tmobile sim card.

    The new model does have bluetooth and also FM and other cool features and the nifty LED light setup which would work great at concerts. Well the old model did not come with English Manual and still most sellers do not offer the English manual so be careful who you buy it from. The reception of the new model is way better.

    Bytheway to all hello kitty fans the new model that came out do work in USA and Canada but it depends on the GSM network your service provider has. Lets say Tmobile support 1900 MHZ and AT&T support 850 MHZ and 1900 in other states so be careful whoever you buy it from make sure they give you all the info before buying the phone. Also it does have bluetooth built on it and the quality is much better than the old version which was dualband :)

    Well I just got the phone a day ago and I like it a lot really. The phone looks a lot better in real life than it does in pictures. It is also really tiny. I didn’t realize how small it really was until I actually held it. I’m still trying to figure things out on the phone, but it seems like it’ll be a good phone. I would have liked it if the phone was a different color though. I’m not a big fan of pink even if I am a girl.

    I got this cute phone,
    yea Its small, but not that great phone.
    i treat it more like a toy phone, coz the features are very basic, and often the touch screen is not corresponding properly and i had to calibrate it again & again.
    But i like the wave message that i could produce.
    Its betta to get the one wth touch & normal keypads.
    They are available from ebay too. the newest version.

    i bought this phone because i absolutely love hello kitty. :) it is AWFUL !:( very hard to use and you cant use it in the uk. not on any network and NO phone shops in my area can recognise it or help me with it. i have had it for 3 months but it has already stopped workin. also very annoying song plays at the beginning which you cannot get rid of!
    however the camera and features are very good, if not hard to understand.
    overall i wud not recommend you buy this phone at all its not worth ur money. :S

    I had this phone and it worked REALLY well, eventually someone stood on it and broke the screen though T_T
    One of my favourite things was when watching videos it knew if you tilted it and would rotate the screen.
    Bad point was the keypad for texting was small so it was pretty much impossible to multitask.
    Still, great phone.

    I already have this phone and i hate it ! It is really annoying, probably the most annoying thing about it is that all the text message ringtones and about 1 minute long(seriously)!They cost around £80 but i dont know in dollars. The letters when u r sending a text message r very small, the camera is rubbish,half the apps dont work, the list is endless of problems i have with this phone. But if u r someone who doesnt use a phone for texting, calling, taking photos,listening to music or surfing the web and you’d just like to show off the LED light off to your friends then this is the phone for you. 1/10 I reccomend you dont buy it, It looks gorgeous but honestly it is not useful as a phone.

    You can change the languages to english (and btw its chinese) but its still chinese 4 writing so everytime u write something you have to change the language.Its very dodgy.

    I have LOVED Hello Kitty since my childhood yes. Its not always pink either. Chococat is black, boys. My parents were very strict and we didnt get many toys. No, not my personal pity party. But the cool kids all had hellokittys and I never did. So now I do! Boxes and boxes! Yay!!!!! I will have my own Hello Kitty room someday for a lovely quiet retreat. Pink is also a breast cancer awareness color (as if u didnt know) so dont be hatin the girlies! And yes that would be a dream phone for me.
