Amp’d Mobile barely announced their looming service termination and Best Buy is already taking their shots at the now-defunct MVNO. Basically kicking them in the ribs as they lay dying on the pavement, Best Buy sent out notifications to employees declaring July 20th the end of Amp’d Mobile’s relationship with Best Buy – and that sales of Amp’d handsets were to terminate immediately.

Like an army of fast-moving ants, Best Buy has unleashed de-construction teams to rid stores of any trace of Amp’d Mobile existence.
Now that’s cold. But, that’s business – an arena in which Amp’d Mobile wasn’t too adept.
