Sharp WX-T81Lately, we spotted an interesting Sharp handset which seems to aim to compete with Motorola’s popular KRZR model. The WX-T81 is a 3G clamshell with cool look and decent specs. There’s the 2.2″ QVGA 262K internal screen, media player, 2 MP camera for photo taking and 1.1 MP camera for video conferencing — quite unusual, as front cameras are usually VGA.

Anyway, we’re still not aware that some U.S. carrier will pick it up, but I guess in Europe Sharp’s long time partner, Vodafone, will carry the WX-T81. And the price? I wouldn’t expect that you wouldn’t have to pay more than 200 USD/EUR or even less, with an appropriate contract.
