Apparently utec is a very popular brand in Asia, and one of their latest mobile phones, T680, aims to appeal to those people — probably youngsters — who like to take their games with them, wherever they are. Hence, the T680 is a gaming phone which comes with a full sized controller that can be attached to the phone for easy gaming. Yeah, we’ve seen Sony Ericsson releasing similar controllers in the past, but this is the first time some company is actually bundling the phone with the controller.

As for the specs, the candybar-shaped utec T680 features a 2.2″ QVGA touchscreen, 2MP camera, microSD slot and very-useful-for-gaming TV out. Available in two colors, this device supports Java, GameBoy and GameBoy Color games…
Neat idea. I guess Nokia could also make some kind of gamepad for their new NGage platform… Few more photos after the break.
