Quit smoking with FixNixer mobile phone applicationIf you’re an avid smoker, you know how hard it can be to quit smoking. You may have even tried a couple times. But, what if you had a constant support system in your mobile phone? Yea, it probably wouldn’t help us either, but FixNixer aims to keep you in line by constantly nagging you with “inspirational” messages.

By filling out an online questionnaire, FixNixer will time its messaging intervals to your smoking habits. When it comes time for your usual smoke-break, FixNixer will shoot you an anti-smoking support message – “Admit it. Being bored is a terrible excuse to use tobacco. Do you ever say ‘I’m bored. I think I’ll go expose myself to radiation?’ No. Didn’t think so.”

Like we said, it probably wouldn’t help us quit, but if you’re really, really trying to quit, FixNixer couldn’t hurt. It just might annoy you enough to quit.
