iPhone v1.1.2 jailbreak supports activation and PPCThe one thing about the iPhone v1.1.2 jailbreak was that it only worked with legit, AT&T activated iPhones on Intel-based Mac machines. Well that’s all changed with the newest update to the iPhone v1.1.2 jailbreak. The new jailbreak solution will now activate (allows you to bypass the “Connect to iTunes” screen and use the iPhone without an AT&T contract) your iPhone and works with PowerPC-based Mac machines.

    I purchased a US iPhone from New York last week with v1.1.2 and bootloader v4.6, can this new jailbreak alow me to activate and unlock the phone for use in the UK?

    hey i purchased an iPhone v1.1.2 2 days ago in the apple store in new york I was just wondering will this method help me to unlock/activate my iPhone and will it work out how it is supposed to, will they come out with any other method because I went to this guy who knows how to unlock iPhones but not yet the v1.1.2 so I was just wondering if this guy will use this method to unlock this version of the iPhone please respond back asap

    I have purchased my iphone through at&t and it already has version 1.1.2 on it. Do I need to downgrade to 1.1.1 to jailbreak or does the new jailbreak take care of it for me?
