Google optimizes Picasa Web Albums for iPhone

Apparently, Picasa was not one of the Google’s apps and services optimized for the iPhone. So, they’ve decided to change that and voila… iPhone and iPod Touch users can now access the special version of Picasa Web Albums right from their shiny gadgets. You can browse and search your albums, get a full view of your pictures, read comments, and also access your friends’ albums through favorites. Nicely done Google, now please optimize your UI’s for other popular devices as well (i.e. Symbian). ;)

    How ironic.

The phone that supposedly gives the “real internet” has spawned a whole slew of device-specific pages that actually fit on the screen.

Welcome, Jobs, to the “mobile internet” you made fun of.

That’s it, I always wanted special google pages for S60 phones and not the iPhone comes and get all the good stuff? I’m getting an iPhone.

Fernando, the good news is that Google says they’re working on special screens for a lot of phones.
