It’s not just the new mobile homepage Yahoo has launched at CES. It’s also the new Yahoo! Go 3.0 all-in-one mobile offering, which now includes a much better feature-rich user interface that can be customized and personalized according to the user’s needs. In addition, Yahoo! also bundled widget support with its new offering, allowing third-parties to also get a piece of the action.
Widget launch partners include eBay
, MySpace and MTV, but the search/portal giant hopes that in the coming months more developers will join “the club.”
At the moment, Yahoo! Go 3.0 is available for the U.S. based users only and it should work on more than 30 mobile devices. International and more localized versions are coming later in the year…
