iPhone coming to AT&T corporate accountsAll you corporate-types that have been waiting to apply your corporate/business account discounts toward a shiny, new iPhone can finally breathe easy. As we previously reported, the rumors about AT&T’s plan to bring the iPhone to corporate and business customers have come to fruition.

Today, AT&T has made the iPhone available to all corporate accounts – with the stipulation that the iPhone be purchased with a new 2-year contract (or that current contract be renewed to 2 years). Users must activate a valid iPhone voice plan and an Enterprise Data Plan for iPhone. While the voice plans will be offered at the expected corporate-discount pricing scheme, corporate customers will have to sign up for a $45 Enterprise Data Plan that includes the same unlimited data and 200 SMS text messages that residential customers get for $20.

However, AT&T is offering a $25 monthly-discount on the Enterprise Data Plan for eligible corporate/business accounts that maintain valid Enterprise voice and data plans for the entirety of their contract. Customers will have to activate their Enterprise iPhone pan by March 31, 2008 to qualify for this discount.

Corporate and business users go forth and snatch up that iPhone you’ve been waiting for! With IBM’s Lotus Notes destined to hit the iPhone soon, we’re sure you’ll be more than happy to deal with that clunky email system on your iPhone.  What’s that you say? You need some MS Exchange support? Um, join the party.
