Google Search plug-in goes Windows MobileRoughly a month ago, Google released dedicated search application for Symbian S60 devices that allowed users to quickly search the web directly from phone’s homescreen. Now they’re pushing the same app to Windows Mobile.

And, that’s it. If you’re a Windows Mobile device owner and use Google as a primary search engine you’ll certainly want to install the app. Simply point your mobile browser to mobile.google.com and take it from there. Next thing you know is the new field on Today screen dedicated to searching the web.

I installed it on my Wizard and it really is faster than loading google.com/m, then typing in your keyword. It’s not the prettiest thing on my today screen, but it’s really a must-have.
