XM Radio Mobile goes BlackBerryIt’s like the push-email isn’t addictive enough for CrackBerry owners, XM Radio is launching its optimized-for-mobile application/service for the RIM-made device owners. Expect to take 20 exclusive XM channels of commercial-free music and 24-hour comedy programming with you, wherever you go. The application’s easy-to-use interface with graphical icons for content genres and channels should make browsing of content/channels a snap. In addition, XM Radio Mobile can run in the background while you’re doing the usual “BlackBerry thing.”

Want it? You’ll need to have BlackBerry 8800, 8700, Pearl or Curve, and a willingness to pour out $7.99 per month. Free 24-hour trial is also available. Hop over to www.xmradio.com/bb to download the app or, in the meantime — if you want to know more — check out XM’s website or the official press release.

The "convergence" is what he's most excited about, and writing about it is the next logical thing to do. He thinks that using a smartphone is what everyone who cares about their time should do. When will they come out with software for the new blackberry storm?

  • DOn

You are so right. My Storm sucks as far as reception, lost calls etc. They replaced my Storm 4 times and nothing helped. Waiting for another one tomorrow. Verizon will not replace it with another Blackberry device.
