Sony Ericsson XPERIA X1 to be launched in mid-September?

We’re not sure whether to trust this because of all the release date confusions in the past, and honestly I hope the Swedish-Japanese handset maker will release the XPERIA X1 before mid-September, but according to Handango’s newsletter that’s about the time you’ll be able to grab the all-in-one Windows Mobile wonder from Sony Ericsson. They said H2 2008 and we always thought it’s July, or at least hoped that will be the case. The good thing, though, is the X1 is still on schedule for launch this year as we reported previously.

Anyway, the device will come with Handango’s InHand service, meaning more software downloads will be available at your fingertips. Good ol’ Handango is in the midst of “seeking the best products for this device” that will support the gorgeous WVGA screen. Now if only someone could borrow me some patience till September that would be awesome. ;(

Please let this date be accurate, The wait is far too long.

This device is enough to make the iPhone 3G throw itself into a burning lake of fire, simply by mentioning the letters A2DP :)

Not to mention the very long list of other iPhone feature omissions.
