GooSync

Last month when we talked about GooSync adding Tasks support to its service, we also said they’ll be rolling out the Google Contacts support soon. That just happened, and now aside from syncing your appointments and tasks, you can also keep your mobile contacts fresh and updated all the time.

Syncing is fully bi-directional, meaning that your contact information can be updated either from a mobile phone or from GMail. What’s left is to let GooSync do its magic.

In order to sync your mobile contacts with GMail, you will need the GooSync Premium account, though. If you’re a GMail junkie like me, you know that’s well worth the price. So, stop wasting time and click the “Upgrade” button, if you still haven’t. You won’t regret, I promise.

More information is available on GooSync’s website.

The "convergence" is what he's most excited about, and writing about it is the next logical thing to do. He thinks that using a smartphone is what everyone who cares about their time should do. In addition to his interests in mobile phones, Dusan also loves to experiment with the latest web and mobile 2.0 services. The idea of accessing and managing your information from any device no matter where you are simply amazes him. Whether it's an online to-do list, note taking service or a video sharing social network, he's there to try it out. He admits though, he's still searching for the ultimate web-based organizational tool, which "sings" perfectly with the mobile PIM application.
