We’ve been reporting about the upcoming Samsung i788 for quite some time now. We know AT&T will pick it up and market it as the BlackJack III. The Treo-killin’ device is actually the i780 model with right frequencies for AT&T’s 3G network and will see its U.S. debut somewhere in October this year.
Expect all the features you could possibly imagine — including WiFi, 3 megapixel camera, 320×320 touchscreen, 528MHz processor, GPS receiver. Windows Mobile 6.1 Professional Edition is running the show.
In a nutshell, it’s the perfect Windows Mobile smartphone for all users looking to go beyond the Treo. Or at least, that seems Samsung’s idea is all about. We’ll see how will that work.
And now the video. It’s kinda blurry, but don’t forget it’s the pre-release hands on clip.
