AdMob June metrics

Mobile advertising marketplace AdMob is out with the June stats from its network. According to AdMob, traffic from the network’s publishers has grown by 104% over the last year. Here’s what else AdMob reveals:

  • During the month of June, AdMob has served 3,631,315,700 ads, which is almost a 20% increase on May.
  • With 472 million requests, Indonesia emerged as AdMob’s second largest market. This was driven primarily by new publishers in the network with significant Indonesian inventory.
  • Apple’s iPhone and iPod touch showed strong growth, with ad impressions increasing by 32% worldwide to 52 million in June.
  • 24.3% of ad requests in the AdMob network worldwide were from smartphones, up from 22.4% in May.
  • Motorola lost share in each of the top 5 markets in June, leading to a 2.2% decline in share worldwide.
  • Palm, on the other hand, continued its strong growth and now represents 2% of requests worldwide
