When I noticed this, I had to post about it. If you’re into retro looking things, or gadgets, this one is for you.

The Nomad Traveler Speaker is made to look like an old radio based on a design from the 1930′s. The unit is quite large, yet it is supposed to still be quite light. It comes with a sturdy handle so you can easily carry it around with you. :)

The unit also has an antenna for reception and a dial tuner display. You can listen to AM/FM radio with it, or plug in your iPod, MP3 player, laptop or hand-held device to pump out the tunes. There is also an AC adapter to let you plug the unit into any outlet, or you can run it on batteries too.

While this is no Bose Wave Radio, I love it. You can pick up your own at Urban Outfitters for $72.
