A Best Buy Mobile ad popped up in Canada over the weekend, showing off the HTC Touch Pro, the HTC Touch Dual and the HTC Touch Diamond (though the Diamond’s been out for awhile) and tragically shy of pricing details. It’s still a sign of things to come, even though we’re missing an official launch or web store presence, but Canadians, keep your eyes peeled on Telus outlets and/or Best Buy shops for these two Windows Mobile handsets. It’s a hard-knock life for the CDMA folks who have to wait upwards of a year for some stuff from the GSM side, but hey, at least the Pro’s coming in good time.

In exploring RIM’s platform, he has learned what enterprises are looking for in mobility as well as what makes the innocuous BlackBerry so appealing to them. Recently Simon’s been covering RIM’s gradual move into an already-crowded consumer market, and the impact of burgeoning challengers, such as the iPhone, as well as long-time leaders, like Nokia, on BlackBerry’s advancement.
With plenty of content under his belt, Simon will be branching off a bit to see what other smartphone manufacturers are working on while still using BlackBerry as a barometer. At IntoMobile, you can count on his posts being even-handed, well-informed and thought-out.
