Nokia has released a new version of Mail for Exchange that, as announced, works with all Symbian S60 3rd edition devices. Aside from this big improvement, Mail for Exchange 2.7 also updates the mapping of data fields in Contacts between the server and the device. New fields mapped are Middle name, Car phone, Department, Spouse, Anniversary.

Finally, thanks to the Exchange Server 2007 Autodiscover feature, when configuring the application for the first time you may be able to receive the server name for synchronizing with your Exchange Server 2007 automatically. When prompted, enter your e-mail address, domain, username, password, and access point. A connection to the server is made and the correct server name is retrieved automatically.

The full list of changes is available from this file (PDF).
