BT has announced a new (updated) mobile broadband service for SMEs, offering a USB stick that uses the Vodafone HSPA network. The service, called (unsurprisingly) BT Business Mobile Broadband, is available as a “standalone” option at £17.50 (+ VAT)/month, but there is also a deal on whereby businesses that sign up for option 2 or 3 of BT’s “Business Total Broadband package” for 24 months can get the mobile part free.

In case you were wondering (and I bet you were), Option 2 of the aforementioned “Total Broadband” package works out at £26.99 (+ VAT)/month, and Option 3 £40.50 (+ VAT)/month,  respectively.

Rather than me laden you with further details, you can check out all the minutiae at the BT website here.

He is based in the UK, a hotbed of activity for mobile, and recently became a father for the second time – as oppose to in his younger years when he was happy spend time tweaking all manner of mobile devices to 'nth' degree, he now looks for services and hardware that provide the most efficient, compact, and reliable improvements to his already manic life! It’s his opinion that Mobile solutions should be there to help to make your life better – if a particular solution (be it service or device) isn’t doing this, he believes you need to ask the very important question of why you continue to use it...
