Gizmodo has busted out some of the finest pictures of the upcoming BlackBerry Curve predecessor to date. Based on their experience, the 8900 builds on the old 8300 models in pretty much every way: screen, keypad, and form factor. 3G is notably lacking, as we all know, but the trackball has recieved a little update – apparently it’s resting noticably tighter in the device. Design-wise, the 8900 is borrowing plenty from the next generation of devices (namely the 9000), while still sticking to its roots. The Storm might steal the Javelin’s Thunder, but all these Bold new devices are sure to Kickstart RIM’s 2009. (Gah… so many codename puns… feel so dirty…)
