Just days after Verizon halted sales of its Samsung U940 Glyde, citing some mysterious “issues,” Big Red has gone and fixed the apparently critical Samsung Glyde problem.
Engadget Mobile cites a Verizon source as saying that the Verizon Samsung Glyde is due to recieve a software update that should resolve the problems that temporarily took the handset off the shelf. The Samsung U940 Glyde is now back on shelves and can be sold to customers on a new-contract or upgrade basis.

Any Samsung Glyde owners experiencing problems with their handset should keep an eye out for the software update.
