If you were wowwed by DoCoMo pumping out 22 handsets in the next three months, LG is planning to put out 125 phones by the end of 2009, which works out to an average of two new phones every day worldwide. At first glance, that’s quite the clip to be releasing devices, but LG isn’t bothered.
“We have to work with different operators in different countries, we don’t think it’s a big number”, said Chang Ma, VP marketing LG mobile global.
25 of those releases are UK-bound, with 24 phones total already on the ’09 roadmap. Now, every one of these isn’t likely to be as fancy as the Prada II, but LG will likely continue to push the high end, like they have with the KC910.
