Sprint Instinct gets Opera Mini 4.2, too

If the T-Mobile G1 can have it, so can Sprint Instinct. I’m talking about Opera Mini, which is now available for the Sprint Instinct users and which is set to become one of their [Instinct users] most-used apps because of the simple fact that the pre-installed browser sucks. To be fair, the last firmware update actually improved the browser, but not too much as far as I can tell.

Anyway, in order to install Opera Mini, you’ll need to have your Instinct updated first (firmware version MR-4 is required). Afterwards, download couple of files, install them on your device and you’re ready to go.

More detailed instructions are available on Opera Software’s website. Good luck!
