Not to be confused with the Nokia 2608 Dusan reported on earlier, the Nokia 2605 ‘Mirage’ is the latest device to hit Verizon’s holiday lineup. The new clamshell is sold as a phone for younger and fashion-conscious users. Perhaps the device will appeal to the ‘metrosexuals’ in the crowd? IT comes with snap-on faceplates that let you easily change the look and feel of the device. Choose from different colored and patterned faceplates to give it your own distinct look.

The Nokia 2605 Mirage is pretty basic indeed, but comes with the following notable features:

  • VGA Camera
  • Bluetooth 2.0 support
  • Access to VZ Navigator

If you’re looking for a compact, stylish and easy to use phone… This one should fit the bill. The Nokia 2605 is available online for $50 on a two-year contract, or $220 contract-free. If you’d rather wait for the device to hit retail stores, you’ll probably have to wait till the end of January, 2009.
