All singing, all dancing .... CB!
Those of you who are regular readers will know I occasionally comment on what is getting “most played” on my iPod/iPhone. And this week it’s Chris Brown!
Yes, yes, I know, the guy is very popular with pre-pubescent members of the opposite sex, however, the boy done good with his producers too….
The Album I refer too as regards his recent musical efforts is called “Exclusive: Forever edition” – and here’s the thing – there’s a really nice mix of ballads AND club bangers – quite a rare combination these days. It sounds like the production duties have been taken on by a selection of producers, which can sometimes be a good or bad thing – in this case it worked out well, and has left us with some stonking tracks in ’08:
- Kiss Kiss (club banger)
- Wall to Wall (club banger)
- Forever
(club banger) - With you (ballad-tastic)
- Superhuman (ballad-tastic)
… and these are just the ones that have had single releases! There is plenty of other good stuff on there, and if this isn’t your usual kind-a-music, I’d heartily recommend it to check out something that might be a lot better than your preconceptions might suggest!
The boy can dance, sing, and has Rihanna as a girlfriend (alledgedly) – darn……..!
