Gameloft has recently announced that it has partnered with Mattel to bring popular card game, UNO, to mobile phones and other platforms. In addition to the iPhone and iPod versions, the game publisher wowed to bring the popular title to other mobile platforms as well. Version for consoles will also be released at some point in the future, but that’s not actually something that concerns us here.
Both parties seem satisfied with the licensing agreement. Mattel Digital Play’s Cynthia Neiman commented: “Gameloft’s successful launch of UNO on the iPhone and iPod has given us tremendous confidence in their ability to continue to deliver our flagship card game to a new generation of players and UNO fans alike.”
