BlackBerry Storm OS Update Allows Full Keyboard in Portrait Mode

Remember the BlackBerry Storm OS update I told you about early, early this morning? Well, to many I’m sure they assumed there would be not much in the way of improvements and usability. Think again. Looks like a big and more-than-handy feature has been included in this update that Storm users will eat up.

Thanks to the OS 4.7.0.90 update, when you rotate your BlackBerry Storm into portrait mode, you can ‘enable full keyboard’ which lets you take advantage of a full keyboard (of course) instead of banging out messages via SureType!

Totally handy, and ‘sort of a big deal’ (to quote Anchorman). I’m sure there are more than a few Storm users that have been waiting for this functionality since launch.

Thanks Kevin!

Blech. The QWERTY keys are small enough in landscape.
