A new gadget design documentary titled ‘Objectified‘ (coming spring 2009!) recently did some filming in Jonathan Ive’s design space out in Cupertino. As you can see above, Mr. Ive looks to be hard at work in his clean and clear design space.

If you’ve never heard of Jonathan before, he’s the Chief Designer over at Apple in Cupertino. He’s been responsible for such products as the iPhone, iPod, MacBook and many more. The guy has skills.

I’m very interested to take in a viewing of ‘Objectified‘ once it is released. I’ve included the trailer for the documentary after the jump if you’re interested! For more information you can always visit the official site at Objectified.

Some feel that ‘Jony Ive’ should be the one tapped to take over at Apple if and when a new CEO is needed. He certainly has the youth, the charm and the style that have made Steve Jobs what he is today.

Note: Is it just me, or is Mr. Ive wearing the same thing in the picture here as he did at the iPhone 3G keynote? I seem to recall him wearing a simple blue t-shirt (maybe I’m wrong). No dressing up for this guy. It’s dress down casual 24/7 :)
