Qik, one of the eldest mobile-to-web video services, has announced a tight partnership with Nokia’s Share on Ovi service, so recorded clips and live feeds will be cross-posted to Ovi. Not a bad deal at all, and a perfect fit since Qik has been supporting Nokia devices since the get-go. That close relationship has garnered Qik a sweet spot on the upcoming Ovi Store, but the Share on Ovi integration is far from exclusive – Flixwagon has had something similar in place since November. Still, Qik seems like the big kid on the block, what with a Boingo deal and support for dozens of devices. Good on Qik for the deal – maybe we’ll even use it at the next trade show… Head on over to Qik for more information on getting started.
